Thomas Darcy Magee Project

This term, 5th and 6th class pupils have been learning about ‘The Great Famine’. They focused on Thomas Darcy Magee who was born in Carlingford. They carried out research and learned a great deal about this famous figure in history. They were very lucky to receive a visit from Anthony Russell and Tommy Fegan. To end our project, we visited the exhibition on Thomas Darcy Magee in Carlingford. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed it.
