Bright Sparks

3rd, 4th and 5th class were making electric circuits. We made in parallel and in series circuits. We lit up a bulb and we used a motor that spins around. We tested our circuits by using an ammeter to measure the currents of electricity.

We did an experiment to see what materials conduct electricity and we found out that metal paper clips and thumbtacks conduct electricity and paper, plastic, wood, cotton wool, material and a string of wool don’t conduct electricity. We had lots of fun doing electricity with Mrs McCusker.
