Insulation Properties

We completed our Insulation Properties experiment using a digital thermometer and Logger Lite software

The results showed that bubble wrap was the best insulator.
We cooked 5 potatoes, one at a time. Identical size, identical cooking time and measured the temperature drop over a five minute period.
We graphed the temperature drop using the software.
Before we started, the pupils decided that tin foil would be the best insulator. When we found out that bubble wrap was the best we decided that the air trapped in each bubble was providing the insulation.
